It was a great privilege and honour to be the Conservative Party's Parliamentary Candidate for Tynemouth Constituency at the 2010 General Election and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me last thursday.

I have a wonderful husband and family who have supported me throughout this campaign and the most fantastic, energetic and enthusiastic team who worked with me. I am only sorry the result wasn't what we all worked and hoped for.

Once again, a huge thank you to everyone for their support.
